I am delighted to announce that my spouse of 54 years, Carolyn, is joining me in the shop.

Twenty years ago we retired and built a workshop in the backyard. A few years earlier we both attended formal classes at the Metropolitan Community College, Minneapolis to study joinery.

Carolyn is an accomplished woodworker even though she has since devoted her efforts to quilting. I pursued furniture making and recently decided to limit my efforts to small projects that are easier to move around the shop.

Counting the years prior to retirement , we have been practicing our avocations for over 30 years. We both enjoy making finely crafted items for people who don't have time to do for themselves.
