I've been thinking a lot lately and just wanted to share some thoughts.

I've noticed a lot of fake or questionable spiritual groups, people, and events lately. And I thought back to my baby witch self, all those many many years ago. How I was searching for someone to show me, teach me, or provide some experience for me. It hurts me to think of how many times I was let down, because "the thing" just wasn't legit. However, each was a learning experience on discernment.

You have to be wary, do your homework people. Unfortunately this is an area where there are no regulations or certificates that really prove what someone is in line with or qualified to teach or offer.

I have been blessed in my journey to meet some really amazing, authentic people. I guess the one thing I can share is that if someone is truly in line with their higher self, they don't run around telling people.

If someone has real authentic things to share, they do so with humility and often for free or a low/afforible cost because it's not a money maker, it's way bigger than this world.

Be wary of those who pop up out of no where, or suddenly are trying to offer rituals or retreats when they have not done the work.

Keep looking, because there are actually authentic people and experiences out there, who have put in not just years but a lifetime. When you find them, you'll know.

Happy New Year. I know it’s been quiet but I had a few long projects that took time to grow and nurture.

I have completed the manuscript of my first thriller novel and will be starting the search for a publisher in the new year!

Secondly I have written a middle school grade book and am collaborating with Ivy on the illustrations! Can’t wait to wrap that up. How cool to have a project with both of our names on the cover?

Remember as we approach the solstice, there are many ways to celebrate with friends and family.

❄️💙☀️ You can simply go out at sunset and experience the liminal energy. It’s a truely magical point in the wheel of the year.

There are public pagan rituals if you’re looking for community. Most are free or ask for a minimal donation.

So while this page may have been quiet for some time, the muse in me hasn’t settled. I have two large projects that I’m wrapping up and hopefully can share more soon.
