Usually, the majority of the pieces I make are ones that we end up keeping, either because Ava loves them or we can use them 😅 However, I still wanted to showcase them here as a part of my collection of work since we do accept personalized requests, and they are also items that I am genuinely proud of crafting. I will be sharing these in a dedicated album titled "Passion Projects" for anyone who might be interested!
Also, I always forget to take before photos of projects which is unfortunate for someone whose business and hobby is restoration. Im working on it, but I didnt get a before shot of the bench shown here and that’s a bummer. However, ill tell you a bit about this fella as compensation!
I found this bench at the Goodwill here in Flagstaff about a year ago. It was black on the bottom with a dark brown lid. Ava immediately took a liking to it. It moved with us from our apartment to our trailer and got lost outside under a tarp. We got a load of snow since September and this guy suffered a lot of water damage in the process, even being covered. But while going through stuff this week I found him and Ava has been needing a stool, so I figured it was a good way to spend my Saturday and here he is!
