So much is happening over here!

I’m trying to not bombard you with posts and new information and then bam! Another awesome thing has started/happened/came to Truck Full of Posies. 😅🤗

Here are a few:

Five of our 21 new gift items have launched on our website! Gifts now have their own landing page for you to browse. 👉 Any and all selections of gifts include complementary gift wrapping. Everything is available for same-day, personal, hand delivery throughout Florence and the surrounding areas. (No minimum order.) Keep an eye on that gift page as new things trickle in.

I asked for your vote as the Best of Florence under “gifts”, and I intend to earn the title. 😉

Weddings! Weddings now have their own, refreshed landing page. I spent my afternoon coding and building a customized wedding cost calculator. No more brides in the dark waiting to hear back on an email, no guessing games or long proposal times; just upfront pricing right at your fingertips.

From “holy wow this is the florist for me”, to quoted, booked and fully inspired without the long wait.

We opened with the goal of changing the game.

A fresh take on floral design in Florence.

At the time we were the only full-service florist using locally grown flowers in our area. We are the only ones to only offer always-unique designs and the only ones with an independent website, not partnered with a larger floral corporation.

And now, we are the only florist in our area with a Wedding Costs Calculator right on our website.

And, I built it myself. (Very proud moment here.)

How cute is she?!

Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun is a one-of-a-kind dried floral design on a paper-mâché ghost. These flowers were locally grown and dried right here in our shop. And she won’t get spooked at the end of the season, save her for years to come.

The coolers will be full again by the end of the day but we have a hard standard on letting every stem that comes into our shop hydrate in our coolers for 12 hours before reaching your hands.

Being an online business that serves a physical location has had its challenges. One I have struggled with for years was not showing a physical location online. This meant we didn’t show up when you searched “florists near me”,
and we appeared at the very bottom
of the search for “florists in Florence, OR”.
Which is absurd given our top quality product, customer service, online storefront and over 100 five star reviews.

Finally! The rules have changed and I was able to get us on the map.

Our storefront is still located online. Our design studio is still a private space and not open to walk-ins. But this helps us prove that we are in-fact a trusted, local business.

If you would- please take a moment, search us on your map app and give us a thumbs up, review or rating.

That’s it! I would appreciate it so very much and am excited to finally check off this 5-year-old open box I have had on my to-do list.

I grew up watching my mother consistently prioritize random acts of kindness. Whether it was a Christmas tree that we snuck over and left on a single-mother’s front porch, a warm meal, registration fee paid for a child in need, etc.. She instilled in me through her actions the importance of helping others and spreading kindness without recognition.

Because of her, I have had this idea in the back of my notebook for years. That idea was finally pushed to the surface when a kind customer emailed me over the weekend. He needed to cancel his order but didn’t want a refund. He wanted his $100 to “go to someone local that could use some cheering up”.

I immediately brought our newest offering, “Random Acts of Kindness” to life. A new product listing that can be found on our website under “shop flowers”.

With Random Acts of Kindness, you choose a donation amount starting at just $10 and up to $1,000. Truck Full of Posies will match 20% of all dollars donated.

These donations will go into a growing pot and be used to surprise an unsuspecting community member with a fresh bouquet of flowers, at random.

Upon purchase of your donation amount, you can nominate someone to be a recipient of one of our kindness bouquets.

These flowers will be delivered anonymously, crediting our community as a whole through the Random Acts of Kindness program.
