‘Adieu’ is a very personal piece since it was inspired by my mum, who sadly passed away last month. Her favorite flowers and colours💜
Fixating on embroidering and painting it for about 70 hrs made me think about how fragile life is, and how certain 💀 is: someday we will be corp$es and someone who love us will take care of it. Do the spirit exists? I don’t know anymore. All I can think is what to do with my time in this life✨. I believe in the spread of toxic positivity in society, but there’s time for every emotion and it’s stupid to assume you have to be happy and ‘ok’ all the time~
