You can find us at the Fire Department tent at 1 PM to grab yours while supplies last!

Come out, support our local firefighters, enjoy some great food, live music, and family fun!

Hi everyone! ❤️

First and foremost, we are incredibly thankful to share that everyone is safe, and our warehouse made it through the hurricane without damage!

Unfortunately, our warehouse is currently without power. Baldwin EMC is working to restore electricity throughout our area, but with thousands of customers affected, they are unable to provide an estimated restoration time.

The good news is that we are still able to pack and ship orders! However, we will be unable to manufacture or restock products until power is restored.

We are doing everything we can to keep orders moving while working through these unexpected challenges.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the storm.

🚨 Hurricane & Shipping Update 🌀

Hey everyone!

We wanted to share a quick update as we continue preparing for the potential impact of the hurricane in our area.

At this time, we are still planning to move forward with our Pumpkin Spice Restock on Friday at 7 PM CST!

With local schools closing Friday and the possibility of severe weather, we are making adjustments to our operations to ensure our employees have time to prepare and care for their families.

📦 Important Shipping Information:
USPS and UPS will not be picking up packages from our facility on Friday. This means customers may experience shipping delays, even if their orders have already been packed and processed.

If the storm impacts our area, our warehouse may temporarily close to allow our employees to evacuate or safely shelter at home.

Please understand that employee safety will always come before shipping deadlines. We will do everything we can to minimize disruptions and get your orders out as quickly as conditions allow.

My husband and I will be staying close to the warehouse and monitoring the situation as it develops.

We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support of our small business. We will continue providing updates as we learn more.

I want to share a little backstory about Mississippi Candle Company and ask our community to help me show love to a family who means more to us than I could ever put into words. ❤️

When I started this company, I truly started with nothing.

I used credit cards to buy the supplies I needed to make candles, and I spent my weekends setting up at art festivals, hoping people would stop by my little booth and buy something I had made. I had a dream of turning this into something bigger, but at the time, I had absolutely no idea what the future would hold.

In 2020, I knew I wanted to leave the corporate world and give my business a real chance, but dreams don’t pay the bills overnight. Josh and I made the decision to move from Alabama to Mississippi, where we didn’t have friends or family nearby. We were starting over in so many ways.

But then we met our neighbors.

They didn’t stay “just neighbors” for very long. They became family.

They believed in us when Mississippi Candle Company was still just a dream we were trying desperately to build. They supported our business by purchasing the products I was making. They encouraged us. They cheered us on.

And when I still needed a job to help make ends meet, they gave me an incredibly flexible part-time work schedule so I could continue building my business.

Then came a day I will never forget.

I received the largest order I had ever received still to this day, and I knew I couldn’t continue doing both. I had to make a choice and take a chance on myself and this little company.

Instead of being upset that I needed to leave, they gave me grace. They let me walk away with absolutely no hard feelings because they understood what that moment meant for me.

They loved us. They believed in us. And they were part of our story before most people even knew our name.

Today, Mississippi Candle Company has grown into something I could have only dreamed about during those early days of maxing out credit cards, making candles, and setting up at art festivals.

But I have never forgotten the people who helped us along the way.

Now, this family is walking through one of the hardest seasons imaginable. They have lost a husband, a father, and a grandfather.

He was truly such a wonderful man with one of the biggest hearts. He and his family showed us kindness when they had absolutely nothing to gain from it, and I will forever be grateful for the love they showed Josh and me when we were trying to find our way.

Now I want to show some of that love back to them.

If Mississippi Candle Company has ever meant something to you, I’m asking our community to come together for a family who meant something to us long before any of this existed.

We were not aware that this particular affiliate video had been attached to an advertising campaign provided through Trybe. Regardless of how the video became connected to the campaign, we understand that our name was associated with the advertisement, and we take responsibility for addressing it.

The language used in the video does not reflect the standards we want associated with Mississippi Candle Company or the content we want representing our brand.

As soon as we became aware of the situation, we completely removed our advertising connection with Trybe while we work to have the video removed and review how content is selected for sponsored advertising.

We sincerely apologize to anyone who saw the advertisement and was offended or disappointed by the language used. We appreciate our customers, affiliates, and community for bringing concerns like this to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to correct them.

Mississippi Candle Company is growing, and we’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Customer Service Representative to join our team.

We Offer:

• Customer Service hours are Monday - Sunday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the voice of Mississippi Candle Company, assisting customers through email, social media, and other communication channels. This is a fast-paced position where no two conversations are the same.
