We have a local family who are suffering the unimaginable and I've created a meal train to try and help them. If you want to help towards their need to cover funeral cost you can contact Robert Morgan Funeral & Cremation Service LLC
(704) 538-8080 and ask to make a donation for Cody Ellis they still need $1,700 to cover the services.

Cody is only 35, he was a Chase High School Graduate C/O 2009 and he is in the end of life stages and under hospice home care. He has a beautiful wife, 2 daughters and a 6 month old son, they need the love and support of the community.

I've created this Meal train to take the burden of meals off of the Ellis and Millwood families. Cody Ellis is on Hospice home care and has reached the end of life stages at the young age of 35, this has brought a tremendous heartache to his wife, young children and his family who are caring for the...

Sunday night dinner!
My boys love a good slider and so do I it's a quick and easy option with unlimited choices! This week I decided to try something new and I wanted a French dip inspired slider!

For 12 sliders you will need
1 pack of Kings Hawaiian rolls sliced in half
1 lb of thin sliced deli meat
1 packet of Au jus seasoning
1 packet of brown gravy seasoning
6 slices of provolone cheese
Melted butter and garlic salt seasoning to top.

I started by tossing my roast beef into a crockpot with the prepared Au jus and brown gravy packets (add the cold water called for and mix them) I turned that on high for 2.5 hours and rested!

When it was time to prepare dinner I toasted the split rolls in the oven then layed 6 slices of provolone cheese on the tops and I laid the roast beef on the bottom flip the tops on and brush with melted butter and garlic salt.

Bake at 350 for 15 mins and check them you want your cheese melted and the tops to be browned. Slice them into individual sliders and serve with some of the reserved sauce and enjoy!

Woke up early this morning to dip the Red velvet cheesecake brownie truffles ended up with 56 of them to take to Church and share! The container fell out of the car and some of them cracked but they were protected and the container held them tight which reminded me that sometimes we go through things that might break us a little but as long as we have Jesus in our hearts we can abide in him!

🙌 The breaks don't change what's on the inside but they do allow what's inside to shine out 🙌 that's the word the Lord gave me when the enemy came to attack. You may feel broken this morning but you can allow others to see the grace and mercy of a loving God who lives within your heart through that brokeness! Thank you Lord for living in me shining through my brokeness and making me beautiful from the inside out 🙌
