Working on UFOs and ny nemesis - binding. Noooooooo . . . . I played chicken with my top thread and lost with less than two inches to go. Arrrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!! Hopefully you are all having better luck today!

This was taken in NYC years ago when Karen Montgomery, Janet Lutz and I ran away from our quilt shops for a few days to hang out with Daniela Stout after she finished designing a new line of batiks for Timeless Treasures. What a whirlwind fun time we had and we kept saying we were going to go again. Many of you attended our Strip Club and bought Daniela’s Cozy Quilts patterns and books. Daniela lost her battle with uterine cancer this morning. The quilt world has lost a shining star and us a good friend. We always think there is plenty of time to hang out with friends and today I was reminded that time is fleeting and precious. Hug your friends and loved ones, plan and take those trips.
