Well, the Dr recommended I stay home, rest and get lots of fluids for the next several days. Definitely the wrong timing for this.🙄
So the store will be officially closed as of today. Thank you to everyone that has stopped by and wished me well. I'm sure I will see you again! 🥹

I started designing over 15 years ago to create beautiful table arrangements and wreaths FULL of lovely little details, and I aspire on making them affordable for everyone! I make a diversity of florals in many different price ranges so everyone can have something gorgeous in their homes. Every design of mine is unique and one of a kind… rarely will I make two of any design!! I use top-quality supplies from a variety of stores, and I tend to find some supplies in stores you would never even think of. The individuality of my creations is what sets me apart from everyone else-- if you see a design and like it, you best take it because there might never be another one alike!
My Beginning
My family moved to the Ozark Mountains when I was 4 years old. I grew up on a farm and I LOVED the outdoors. Besides farming, there were many other different talents within my family that I grew up with. My mom would make little, crafty things, my sister was and is still a wonderful seamstress (I AM NOT), my aunt has kept her craft of creating beautiful needlepoint, and I had a grandmother who loved to make dolls and doll clothing. While growing up in the Ozarks, I had the influence of crafting all around me.
I’ve always had a passion for gardening and flowers. In high school, I was on the FFA Horticulture Team. This is the place in which I truly fell in love with creating florals. These teams were first timed in making corsages, and then the quality of them were judged. Through these contests is where I learned how to make my bows by hand. I really owe a lot of my skill and creativity to my high school FFA.
Towards the end of high school, I started creating designs for an array of different people. I helped my sister with all of her wedding florals. Then when I got married, I made ALL of my own wedding florals and décor. After that, I became a stay-at-home mom! I had grown so used to working full time and being constantly busy, but then, I suddenly didn’t know what to do with myself! So, during this time I took an online course for floral designing, and within a year and a half later I had my degree in the art. Meanwhile, my husband had a wooden sign hand-painted at Silver Dollar City for me with the words “Flowers by Billie” on it, and that is how I actually got my business name. Fifteen years have passed and I still have that wooden sign hanging on my work room door; it goes to every craft show with me as my good-luck charm. My husband has definitely been the biggest supporter of mine during this journey! Anything that I need for my business, or even if I need help with my shows, he has always been there, and he constantly tells me, “Try it or you never will know. You can do it.”
Fast Forward to 2020
Every year, my business has managed to grow larger and larger. I have done many different local festivals, made many beautiful wedding arrangements, and have been involved in numerous charity events in which I have created décor for. Over the last 15+ years of having a home-based business, I have fabricated well over 5,000 different florals, and I still have so much fun coming up with different creations. As of June 2019, I decided to take a HUGE leap and leave my full time desk job. Creating florals is what I love, it is my passion, and this is my perfect fit!
Thank you for supporting me and my small business! - Billie
