The Powder Bath From Hell Update!

So, after we couldn't even get in to do the work last time, we were finally able to return and get some stuff done! While I hoped we could get it ALL done, that just isn't the way this room works. Good news, we got the new baseboard in, and it's beautiful! Bad news - we still need to paint it, do the touch-up, and install the accessories. More good news - we can come back Friday morning to get the rest done! FINGERS CROSSED PEOPLE!!

Oh - and I LITERALLY bought a small sage bundle to remove the bad ju-ju!! LOL!

The Powder Bath From Hell Update: Well, there is no update. Due to the roadwork from the last post, we had to reschedule, and my contractors can't get back out until the 22nd. :(

I AM working on a church narthex, but I can't post that until I've shown it to the clients! Stay tuned!!

The Powder Bath From Hell update!
So the latest in a nutshell: I needed about 3 feet of baseboard to finish off the area around the vanity. After pulling the original permits, calling the original builder, calling THEIR vendor and a couple of others, we found out it's a custom baseboard. To match the existing base, I got a minimum bid of $1000 for one stick!! So, we're replacing it all with something very similar. We FINALLY get to the house yesterday to do one last, long day and get everything done, and THIS (see photos) is happening. Repaving. On their side of the street. They didn't want anyone so much as walking on it, so they wouldn't even let the contractors into the neighborhood.

Honestly, I couldn't even make this stuff up!

I'm currently looking for sage bundles so that I can clear out the bad ju-ju from this space. 😕

ATTENTION DESIGNERS! Check this out! In a time where most companies are dialing it all back, Sherwin-Williams is UPPING their game! I had a small chat with someone about ordering larger samples for a client, and she asked if I might be interested in ordering the ColorSnap Kit. Of course I said yes, thinking I'd get a new paint fan and maybe a couple of small extras. I did NOT expect this deluxe carrying case with samples you can tear off for the client, as well as a new fan, MinWax fan, and all the extras!
