ONE YEAR OF RŪTS 🌱

A year ago, RŪTS was just an idea.

Since then, there’s been a lot of learning, experimenting, failing, starting over, growing things, killing things 😂 and trying to figure out what RŪTS is supposed to become.

I don’t have thousands of followers. I haven’t gone viral. But a year later, I’m still here. Still creating. Still growing. Still believing this little idea can become something.

And to the people who have chosen to follow along on this journey, thank you. 🥹🌱 I’m so incredibly grateful that you’re here, and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

One year. And I’m still chugging along.

How many failed growing experiments does it take before something finally thrives? Apparently, I’m finding out!

😂🌱 I’ve got leggy lil’ sons of lettuces!

I’ve tried natural sunlight, indirect light and several different setups. One of my biggest challenges was the Florida heat. I steamed the seedlings, then tried no dome, which caused them to dry out too quickly. Needless to say, that experiment didn’t go as planned. 😅

So now I’m moving on to a makeshift light and a more controlled environment while I figure out what works best. 💡

For now, I’m sticking with small test runs and learning as I go. What growing tips or tricks have helped you get better results? 🥬🌱
