Sharing a few photos of our home now that I’ve added some long-overdue decorative touches. We completed the renovation this spring—adding new walls, flooring, and custom built-ins—but like so many designers, my own home quietly took a backseat while client projects took center stage. It feels really good to finally tend to these little corners, to see our space come together, and to enjoy the beauty of living in what we’ve created. I still have one window to finish, some art and lighting updates. An area rug for the dining room table. The reality is it will never be done done, an ever evolving space! For now though. It's pretty darn good and done!

All the small things! Indeed these little design elements make for thoughtful touches. We love taking a layered approach to your window that marries function and beauty. We strive for the perfect balance and a solution and investment that stands. the test of time. But more importantly brings you joy! This whimsical yet classic fabric applied to a board-mounted valance and designed with a scalloped bottom and contrasting solid fabric is giving full on whimsy and joy vibes. I fell in love with this fabric the moment I saw it! (design nerd) 🤪💕

The second week of Advent invites us into the quiet glow of peace. And I'm here for it! At this point in advent we are invited to light the next candle and are reminded to soften our pace, steady our breath, and welcome calm into the spaces we inhabit—both around us and within us. Sounds hard!

Its a little funny, strange and wildly ironic to me because this time of year can feel quite chaotic!

For me, to reclaim some peace means stepping back a bit, mostly from work (which is hard for me). It is so important for me to be present and show up for my family and friends.

We can't do it all! At least I can't.

I hope you find space to be and do what you need to do in order embrace this season.
