WELCOME to all of the new followers! If you're new here, my name is Misty and I call Franklin, KY home. My Nanny worked in a craft store for as long as I can remember and that is where I spent most of my summers. I have always done occasional crafting for fun and mainly for myself. Last fall my son was getting married and his bride found some lariat/lasso wreaths that she really liked, but were costly. I decided to try my hand at them. They turned out pretty cute if I say so myself. Next, I reworked (basically took them back down to the styrofoam and started over) their large arrangements, made their bouquets and boutinneers. Before I knew it, I had custom lariat/lasso wreath orders coming in. That's how Turquoise Trail Handmade was born. It's a hobby for me, sometimes it's therapy.
