We’ve been spending the summer upgrading the ScentScapes studio, preparing for the season ahead, and getting ready to bring ScentScapes into retail locations through wholesale.

And that’s had me thinking a lot about how our candles show up on the shelf.

So this September, we’re testing a fresh new look for the Passport Collection—more colorful, more artful, and designed to make each label feel like a tiny piece of travel art inspired by the destination behind the scent. ✈️

The scents and stories you know aren’t changing. But before I make the new labels official, I want to know what you think.

Exciting things are happening around the ScentScapes studio!

I started ScentScapes Candle Company in the kitchen of my Indianapolis home, hand-pouring soy candles one small batch at a time. Around that same time, my partner and I found a piece of land and traded city life for the quiet countryside.

Since then, ScentScapes has grown from the original Storybook Collection into a travel-inspired home fragrance brand designed to transport you through scent.

This summer has been a little quieter as we've focused on getting settled into our new home while I work behind the scenes on expanding ScentScapes into the wholesale market.

One of the things I'm most excited about is our new studio. A detached garage on the property has become the perfect space for candle making. We're getting ready to insulate it (making candles in an unconditioned space has definitely been a challenge!), and I can't wait to transform it into a studio that reflects the ScentScapes brand—a place filled with creativity, inspiration, and, of course, incredible scents.

But before that can happen... a few trees have to come down. 🌲🪵 Follow along as we begin the next chapter!

A little studio update. ✨

A fresh shipment of jars just arrived, which means we're officially getting ready for fall.

Two fan favorites are making their return this season... but they'll be looking a little different. We've completely reimagined their labels as part of the new Passport Collection while keeping the fragrances you already know and love.

We can't wait to share the finished look with you. 🍂✈️

It's been a little quiet on our socials lately...
Behind the scenes, we've been giving the ScentScapes studio a bit of a glow-up ✨

Over the past few weeks I've been clearing out old inventory and preparing for the busy fall season ahead.

This Saturday, we'll be taking a break from the studio to join the Indiana Brewers Guild Summerfest in Indianapolis! If you're attending, stop by and say hello—we'd love to help you travel the world through scent!

We're headed to Bloombox Festival this Saturday with the full Passport Collection.

Explore six destination-inspired scents designed to capture the feeling of a place and discover where your next journey begins—from slow afternoons sipping margaritas on the beaches of Mexico to sunrise on the Serengeti.

If you've been wanting to experience the collection in person, this is one of our favorite events of the summer.

What a weekend. ✨

Three markets, countless conversations, and so many opportunities to share the Passport Collection with both new and familiar faces.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, took time to smell a candle, shared travel stories, or brought home a new destination. Those moments mean more than you know.

A special thank you to the event organizers — the Downtown Evansville Indiana, (shout out to my friends at Terre Haute Brewing Company ), Spooner Markets and fellow vendors who helped create such welcoming spaces throughout the weekend. It's always inspiring to meet so many talented makers and small business owners along the way.

And to the familiar faces who continue to stop by event after event—thank you. Seeing returning customers and friends is one of my favorite parts of market season.

I'm feeling incredibly grateful and already looking forward to the next market. ❤️
