🌼 A throwback to one of my flower pieces: a digital drawing of April’s birth flower, the daisy. 🌼

Inspired by the Art Nouveau movement, this piece combines flowing lines and a bright pop of color for a modern take. After all this rain, I’m hoping we'll soon see more of these cheerful blooms in nature!

Who has inspired your creativity? For me, it’s my Nonie (my mother’s mother). I spent countless summers playing in her expansive garden or painting in her studio, and it’s her influence that shaped the creative person I am today. She’s always been an incredibly creative force, and her talent still amazes me. And though she doesn’t seek public recognition for her work, I believe her pieces should to be in a gallery, and I want to honor her contribution to my life. ❤️
