Artist Ibechaobi Leishangthem of Woven Vessel takes cotton rope, sometimes in its natural color and sometimes after hand-dyeing it in vibrant colors, and sews them into coils that form into elegant handcrafted baskets.

Mark your calendars to meet Ibechaobi and see her work (and the work of more than 70 other artists) in person at the PGC Fall Fine Craft Fair Oct 24-25 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA!

This weekend is my most favorite weekend of all my shows. Join me for the Art in the Avenue 2026,
Date and time : Saturday, Oct 3rd, 10-6pm

The festival will take place at Mount Vernon Ave in the heart of the historic DelRay neighborhood in Alexandria, VA. I’ll be at Booth E15 on Mt.Vernon & Bellefonte Ave (in front of DelRay Farmhouse Market & Garden).

I’m truly honored to have received the Top 30 Judges’ Choice Award at the Mt. Gretna Outdoor Art Show. Even with the rain on the second day, the event turned out to be a success. Right now, I’m tidying up my tent, thanks to my unpaid helper! 😆

A huge thank you to the art council, the enthusiastic community, and all the supportive artists and volunteers.

I won an award 🏆- Directors Choice Central PA Festival of the Arts.

Central PA Festival of the Arts has been a whirlwind and I’m still recovering from the 4 days fun filled show weekend.

Day 1: Bright, sunny, fun July day.
Day 2 : Got caught in the flood, knee high level water, have to take down all the baskets and shelter in the church(right across from my booth).
Day 3 : Received an award - 2026 Directors Choice. I’m so honored and excited for this prestigious award. Thank you Pam and the whole CPA team.
Day 4 : My tan feet after soaking different weathers for the last 5 days😀😀.

Overall, it was a great weekend and I had a very good sale. Thank you Central PA festival of the Arts team, the volunteers, Marc , Erica, Deb, and all my booth neighbors and church volunteers who helped me in the flood rescue. I’m truly grateful for all your endless help.
I hope to come back again next year.

Festival hours : Saturday: 10 - 6pm ; Sunday: 11-5pm
