Mesilla is a term for small mesas or small tables. I think that describes the scale of the design in the fabric. Mesilla, New Mexico is also a town with a colorful history. Billy the Kid was tried there. Now it is known for its vibrant food, arts and theatre districts

These ladies worked really hard today and did a fantastic job on thier chairs! We learned alot about chair construction, how to work with cowhide, how to install tacks and how to build a cushion.
We ran out of time to finish the tacks but just WOW these chairs are gorgeous.
