I, Cortney was a senior in high school, the only girl sitting in that shop class and Tori in 8th grade oddly enough also in shop class when the world as we knew it changed forever.
My teacher actually stopped and prayed that morning as we sat in silence in disbelief.

Like so many others, I can still remember where I was and the feeling of watching something unfold that none of us could fully understand at the time.

Today, we remember the lives that were lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the first responders and everyday heroes who ran toward danger when others were running away.

We also remember the way our country came together in the days that followed — neighbors helping neighbors, strangers supporting strangers, and an overwhelming sense that we were all Americans standing together.

25 years later, we still remember. We still honor them. And we will never forget. 🇺🇸
