I have come to the realization that I am absolute garbage at keeping up with social media.
On one hand, it’s a magical tool that keeps people connected across the world, allows you to interact with humans you never would have the opportunity to meet in person, and connects communities of people with shared passions!
On the other hand, it’s soul sucking, soul crushing, and boy howdy does it mess with my dopamine regulation. The pressure to be internet-perfect, performative, and curated (?) is just…exhausting. Hence why I post like twice a year 😅😅
So anyway, I recently encountered a reel that was like “just be yourself, don’t try to hard, your audience will be more organic that way”, so here we are, trying to resurrect these business pages now that the crafting bug has bitten me again.
As such, BEHOLD! I made a fancy coat prototype! Made with green and gold grand medallion chenille jacquard, gold fuzzy velvety idk what kind of fabric it is, with cute little button accents to be added to the collar and sleeves. You can find this baby at the Sparta NJ Renaissance Festival the first two weekends in September!
This one is going to be tagged as XS, and since it’s the prototype (and thus has very visible black thread, oops), it’ll be priced lower than any future subsequent coats (assuming I make more, we shall see where the sewing fae take me)
Real talk though, what’s a reasonable price for this. 🤔
