Where they will gather, laugh, cry, and create forever memories. And getting to create a space that leaves our clients feeling this way is beyond what words can describe. This is the whole point! 🥰

Hospitality was at the front of every decision in this dining room. This family loves being the home where everyone gathers, so we asked one question: what would make hosting feel effortless?

The answer was a custom built-in with a beverage fridge, glass front cabinets, and a marble counter that doubles as a buffet. Everything is within arm’s reach, so the host gets to be at the table instead of in the kitchen. ✨

I still remember the first person who said yes.

I was driving when the text came through that they wanted to hire me and I remember FREAKING OUT! I was about to be a single mom of four, starting over from scratch, with no safety net and no clear picture of how any of it was going to work out. But dang, I knew in my heart I could do this! I just didn’t know whether anyone would give me the chance haha.

I called my mom and told her, we both squealed 😆 that client had no idea what that yes meant to me. It was the first time someone else believed in what I already did. So I showed up like it was the most important project in the world, because to me it was.

That first yes turned into the next one, and the next, and eventually into Chambers + Co.

And now every time another family trusts us with their home, I can’t help but think about that first yes. It’s never just a project, y’all. It’s someone handing us something that matters to them and I carry that with me into every single project.

For years, open floor plans were THE thing. Knock down the walls and let it all flow together.

Open concept isn’t going anywhere, but we’re seeing homeowners want a little definition back, so each room can have its own personality and its own specific moment.

A transom is the perfect solution! It gives a space its own character, lets the light keep traveling through, and keeps the open feel everyone loves. The room becomes its own cozy corner of the house, set apart but never shut off.

We have a client who wanted this exact thing, so we designed a transom between their kitchen and dining room. The dining room now feels tucked in and intimate, without losing the flow of the home.

You have nice things. So why does your home still feel off?

It is one of the most common things we see discussed online. And it’s more frustrating than people let on because you have put *real* time, *real* money, and *real* thought into your home. You are not someone who just throws things together. And yet something is still missing.

Here is what we know after years of doing this work. The problem is almost never about what you bought. It’s that the room was decorated, not designed. And no amount of new furniture is going to fix that.
