Fe took me to the movies the other night, and we somehow ended up with the whole theater to ourselves!

I didn’t plan on watching the movie, so I brought my notebook along to write down ideas for C-Ewe Farmstead.

Sophia quickly pointed out that I was completely representing our friends at Clark Funny Farm… and she wasn’t wrong.

I was wearing my Clark Funny Farm shirt AND carrying my Clark Funny Farm notebook.

I guess you can take the girl out of the barn for movie night… but you can’t take the farm out of her.

One of the best ways we can support agriculture is by choosing to buy local whenever we can.

When you buy from a local farmer, rancher, or small homestead, your money goes right back into that farm. It helps care for the animals, maintain the land, cover feed and supplies, and keep local food growing close to home.

Whether it’s beef, eggs, produce, or homemade goods, every purchase makes a difference. It helps real families keep doing what they love and continue feeding their communities.

Shop your local farmers market. Buy from a farm near you. Ask where your food comes from. And when you can, put your dollars behind the people working hard to grow and raise it.

If we want small farms and American agriculture to have a future, we have to support the people building it today.
