Southerly Porch

Can we have a little front-door heart-to-heart? 🌿

A beautiful wreath deserves the right size, the right placement—and a little attention along the way. I’ve seen it done many different ways, more than you can imagine. So here’s a few thoughts…

Today I had the pleasure of styling this porch for my dear friend’s mom as a gift from he and his sisters. It is completely maintenance free with all faux plants so she can sit on her porch and simply watch the hummingbirds in her yard. 🩷

It’s October and I had the opportunity to bring some Fall color to this glorious porch. 🍁 The incredible homeowner has decorated this porch for years, so it was time to let someone else do the work. Luckily, I’m that someone. 🙂 I used both faux and real plants to keep things easy and this style can also easily transition to Christmas with just a few changes. A beautiful welcome made easy with Southerly Porch. 🌿

Porch sitting season is here! The air feels a little cooler, the coffee tastes a little better, and the porch is calling. ☕🍁

If your porch could use a little fall refresh, I’d love to style it for you.

A beautiful welcome made easy. 🧡

Just when I thought I couldn’t love this porch more, we added pumpkins and pine cones to give it that undeniable Fall feel. See, we CAN do Fall in Florida! 🍁☀️

Goodbye Summer, hello Fall! 🍁 Let’s add some Pumpkin Spice to your porch!

From a simple door refresh to pumpkins, lanterns, plants, and pine cones, whatever suits your fancy, I can make it happen. Faux or real, and I offer plant care too!

Some of you are so busy, it’s hard to keep up with you. 😂

That’s why I offer a Porch & Plant Maintenance option.

Because container plants are a little like kids and pets—they need attention. They need water. They need food. And occasionally, they need a good trim.

For a small monthly fee, I’ll stop by to water, feed and tidy your plants, trim what needs trimming, and give the whole porch a good blowing off.

And because sometimes, despite our best efforts, a plant meets an untimely death…I’ll take care of replacing those, too. 🌿😂

It’s one more way I can help keep your porch looking just as welcoming as the day I styled it.

A beautiful welcome made easy. 🤍

Sometimes a porch doesn’t need a lot of things, it just needs the right things.

This was last week’s Southerly Porch transformation, and I loved watching this entrance come to life.

We started with a beautiful home and a completely blank slate. I added layers of texture, color and greenery — mixing real plants with quality faux pieces — to create something warm and welcoming without making it feel overdone.

I also chose several of the larger pieces intentionally so they can stay as the seasons change. The cedars and fern can transition right into Christmas, and then we can refresh around them again for spring. Porch styling doesn’t necessarily mean starting over every season.

And my favorite little detail? The dog planter. I spotted him at the last minute and immediately thought of the homeowner’s sweet pup. I knew he belonged on the porch. 🐾

A beautiful welcome, made personal.
