People often ask when it comes designing funeral flowers …Do you plan what it looks like when it finished. Well, the answer is yes and no.
No two pieces are ever the same. Each piece is made especially for the loved one. So no, I don’t know what the final piece will look like. I will begin to know once I ask a few question’s about the deceased. Questions I will ask include what is their favorite color, hobby, favorite flower, etc. I will sit with you and learn as much as I can to ensure the flowers capture your loved one’s spirit. Then I read the obituary and look at their picture. I usually learn a little more here. Now I can order the flowers and purchase any items to personalize the tribute flowers.
Next is me in the design room… First thing I do is pray and ask the Lord to help me capture this loved ones spirit and help me create something that will bless the family during this time of mourning. Designing celebration of life flowers is a privilege and an honor. An honor to be a part of a loved one’s last chapter. God amazes me every time. All glory and honor are His.
