What primary bedroom style speaks to your personal style? Sometimes you know right away and sometimes it’s a more nuanced approach and a design label- traditional, transitional, modern, coastal, etc. isn’t always helpful. That’s why working with a designer is a great idea. Even the most experienced and well known interior designers work with other designers when designing their personal homes. A dear friend brought me a bouquet of beautiful white hydrangeas and I was so sad to see them go. Hydrangeas are such a classic statement arrangement, especially in spring & summer. Thankfully I found a REALLY GOOD faux option. They look and feel realistic and they will be a constant reminder of sweet friends. DM me for the link or see my stories.

Spring is in the air and there’s something about adding fresh greenery in your home that really welcomes the season. I’ve always loved the look of a Southern porch covered with Boston Ferns. There’s something about burning a candle that immediately makes a space feel like home. The glow, the scent, the cozy feeling, it all changes the atmosphere. Truthfully, there’s hardly a day you won’t find a candle burning in my house especially in these darker winter months.

This post is dedicated to STATEMENT candles. They are big. They aren’t just an addition to your home decor. They are your home decor.
