Keeping with our latest obsession of making mini versions of our large art pieces- here is the cute little version of our big geometric design Arizona. Hexagons & Barn Wood = Winning Combo! ✨ I just listed this Arizona on the website this morning. It’s about 13” tall making it perfect to fill wall space or shelf space. I absolutely love the natural texture and depth of the reclaimed wood. Pete was able to split the barn wood in a way that makes this super lightweight and also doubles the amount of barn wood we can use overall. What other art pieces or shapes should we try to make out of hexagons?

Did you know?
1️⃣ Gilbert, Arizona was once known as the “Hay Shipping Capital of the World” because it was a hub for hay production in the early 1900s.
2️⃣ The town was named after William “Bobby” Gilbert, who provided land to the Arizona Eastern Railway for their railroad line in exchange for the naming rights.
3️⃣ Gilbert was officially incorporated as a town in 1920 and had a population of just 865 people at the time.
4️⃣ Gilbert is home to several parks and recreational facilities, including the Riparian Preserve, which covers 110 acres and is home to over 250 species of birds.
5️⃣ Gilbert has been recognized as one of the safest cities in the United States, with low crime rate and a high quality of life. In fact, it was ranked as 2nd safest city in Arizona by SafeWise in 2021.

We are still here 🖤 First, can we collectively try to make an early fall happen here in AZ? We are so over the heat of this summer and are we are for sure dreaming of a day when we have a fully air conditioned workshop 🧊 Second, we are planning the last four months of 2023- can you believe that? September is next week and mentally I’m still back in April. This year has been…interesting. But, we are looking forward and not backward now 🖤 Here is a list of things Pete and I want to accomplish before the end of the year:
✨ Bring you some new product types and styles
✨ Find new stores who want to carry our product (know anywhere that would be a good fit for us? Let us know!)
✨ Plan some workshop shopping events- who’s interested?
✨ And most of all we just want to spread some love and kindness all around, after all- that’s our main purpose here on this big round ball 🌏🖤🖤🖤

This little set of Christmas trees is cute in natural wood but would also be great for a craft night where you could paint and decorate them yourself 🖤

Have you started decorating for the holidays yet? Pete loves Christmas and he put our tree up on October 27th. 😀🫣 It’s a tradition he started during the pandemic and I’m not mad about it, LOL 😍🎄🎁☃️
