I recently had the honor of delivering memorial flowers for a retired Army Serviceman who tragically lost his life in an accident in Bali. Throughout the process of creating and delivering the flowers, as well as in the days that followed, I was moved by the love and gratitude from his family. This young man's selfless heroism and the love shared by his family have left a lasting impression on me. The support for my small business was immense, with orders coming in from family members both in Australia and here in the Valley.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your support and honor of letting me add a small touch to your beautiful send off of Joesph. I feel fortunate to have had a certain individual placed in my path, and I am honored to call her a dear friend to the Georgina Shamshon family my thoughts and prayers are with during this time of healing.

About a week and a half ago, I attended my friend's spring/engagement party, and at the 11th hour, she messaged me and asked me to bring a few bouquets of flowers with me. While at the party, she and her fiancé 'sprang' onto all of the guests that we were not only there to celebrate their engagement and new home but also there to attend their wedding! Much to our surprise, the evening turned out to be fantastic, as we all witnessed the birth of a marriage right before our eyes. My flowers on the backdrop served a momentous occasion. Congratulations and best wishes to Lisa and Vince!

Last night was another epic event for me and my floral business. I had the honor of designing florals for Westmarc’s Best of the West Awards Dinner. The centerpiece featured hydrangeas, roses, Queen Anne’s lace, (one of my favorites) accent florals and greens beautifully arranged on a mirror with votive candles. Thank you Westmarc for selecting me as your floral designer.

Funerals are always challenging, but I firmly believe incorporating flowers brings solace to a difficult day to the parishioners. I appreciate clients who have a general concept for florals yet entrust me with the design. This client requested blue and yellow fresh flowers and integrating her father-in-law's cowboy hat into the arrangement. When the client arrived at the church and viewed the florals for the first time I immediately received the following text comment, “You did a fabulous job!!! I cannot thank you enough. Everything was beautiful. You truly excelled! I couldn't have asked for anything.”
