Been a bit of a whirlwind 1st 6 months in Charlotte. Have been selling existing contract items and have not really been out looking for new work, as I have wanted to get the lay of the land out here and get to know the area.

Great people, and looks like there is opportunities here, but also alot of competition. Maybe not like for like, but lots of adjacent services.

So with that being said wanted to get recommendations of local contacts to start to introduce myself to and see if I can be of benefit to their clients.

These contacts can be realtors, moving companies, junk removal, property management firms, Legal firms dealing with family law / estate planning and guardianship, in home services like painters, cleaning or in home senior care, senior care facilities, and people who may need help to process and sell items for their clients to help them move along with their goals. Be that because of divorce, downsizing, loss of a loved one, moving into memory care, business liquidation, eviction, or simply need help to get best dollar value and return when selling a collection. Maybe even someone with just too much in the basement / garage and need help to sell what they can and remove the rest to get their space back.

Anyway, just thought I would post on here in case people on here had some recommendations or contacts that they would like me to meet out here to see if I can be of help. Thanks so much.

Have not had much time to acknowledge this. But we were hit hard with this one. We as far as we know are ok. The items stored offsite of my home in the warehouse and packed for our move later this month to Charlotte NC, are all safe.

That included the majority of consignment / estate items we have currently and also all items that were held at the warehouse space in Mariposa.

However, a lot of our personal items, and very few items that were stored at my home in Midpines are currently, via the maps available are not burned, but are in the evacuation area, so cannot confirm 100% where we stand currently with that.

We are all safe, but again wanted to put this out there just in case people were worried abo it there items we had for sale for them. I will be in touch with people individually over the next few days as I now have a better handle of our own families safety and now can focus on the less pressing worries of protecting items over people.

Thanks all for the well wishes and help offered over the last few gruelling days. And please feel free to reach out with any questions and if anyone needs help, if I can help I would be happy to. Have a truck and enclosed trailer and happy to help in around my own commitments. Thanks again.
