I LOVE working in my dad’s woodshop, but on days like today where it’s 104 degrees at 5:30pm, the swamp cooler makes it super nice. Especially if we are just sitting in the shade watching the kids play in the yard. ❤️❤️❤️ ☀️

When you think the sanding is done, just know that you are wrong. It doesn’t matter if you are right- you are still wrong. The sanding is NEVER done…. There will always be a corner that wasn’t there before that needs knocking down, or an entire new side that appears!

This was a fun project, because it pushed my brain/designing skills to make sure all the layers were correct and fit correctly. Then there was the painting, engraving, stacking, and lining everything up which is always a balancing act. I can’t wait to do another one of these :)

Today is national clean off your desk day! I was wondering does that mean one desk, or all of them??? The reason I ask is; I have one desk for my contracting job doing construction estimates, I have another desk for designing & working my laser, then there’s my work table in the garage. What do you consider your ‘desk’ and are you cleaning it today?
