This weekend, as we honor the men and woman who gave it all… I will take this time to pay homage to my father and try to make my own peace with his passing. As a veteran myself now, I would like to thank you for teaching me what freedom truly means and what real sacrifice looks and feels like.

Given all by some and carried on by those who understand!

The flag was yours pops, and now I will carry it the rest of the way.

So much honor and respect will be carried forward, because of the love a father gave, and a son felt.
