13 years ago I started collecting vintage hankies. They were just for the purpose of giving to wedding guests at our son and daughter-in-love’s wedding.
Who knew that these years later I’d still be buying them?!?!
It was never in the game plan, yet here we are!! 😊

The outside is in like new condition. It obviously never met the luggage handlers for any major airline. The inside is good, but I will eventually rip that all out.
But mostly I bought it because it was $5. What????

Absolutely gorgeous day…even with the strong breeze! Saw so many fun things, but only brought home one item (the other purchase was consumed on site!). Hard to believe, huh?!?! 🤭 Ran into a friend and had a short visit which is always fun.

Sandi noticed there is no stitching along one side. YEP! And do you know what that means?
This was never used as a functional sack!! It was probably an oopsie by the woman stitching so it went into a reject pile. Might have even gone home with her or another one of the women working at the bag company! We will never know for sure, but I’d guess since it was never cut up that the error wasn’t made on purpose.
Hey, I’ve gone off the edge a time or two myself!! How about you????? 😉

Took a quick jaunt across the river this afternoon to St. Louis Antique Mall. Picked up a few things and had fun looking, as always!
Of course the cat came home with me!!! How could I resist?!?!
The two feedsacks need some TLC. There are a few small areas of mildew (you KNOW how I feel about that stuff!!) but I will put them into a soak tonight and add ammonia to kill the spores.
Will any of the residue come out? I’ll give it the old college try, but if they don’t I will cut those parts out and move on. Just glad I found them before it spreads too far to save!

Found myself on the clearance aisle at Michael’s yesterday. I decided that for a buck I’d dub myself the “queen of 15”! ...
