Today’s vintage find was a GOOD one! 💚

I’ve personally never seen an egg plate quite like this one, so there was no way I was leaving it behind! 😍

This little gem came home with me from Andrew County Antique Mall in Savannah, MO—a vintage Tiara Chantilly Green Deviled Egg Server by Indiana Glass Company. And that gorgeous green pressed-glass pattern? 😍💚

I stopped in to see my friends at The Good Old Co. on Friday, and while we were just chatting, one of them mentioned that a friend was selling her house and had a beautiful red hutch for sale. She connected us, and by 7 o’clock last night, I was breaking the news to my hubby that we were going to buy a hutch. 😅

Now, mind you, we live in a teeny tiny cottage that’s currently being updated. One day we’ll have more space upstairs, but that’s still a ways off. At the moment, my dining room already houses a buffet table and a desk that will eventually become my upstairs vanity.

So when I tell my husband we’re going to buy a hutch, his response is, “And where exactly are you going to put it?”

My reply? “Honey, don’t stress. I’ve got this.” 😂

And like the good man he is, he loaded up and went hutch shopping with me.

Let me just say… I am ECSTATIC! This hutch fits my dining room perfectly. It looks like it was made for the space.

Fun fact: I had fallen in love with a similar hutch at an antique store a while back. The price tag? Well over $2,300. I know, right?! I don’t have that kind of money.

This beauty, however, came home with me for way less than $100!

Moral of the story: Sometimes the best treasures find you when you least expect it. ❤️

We’ve been a little busy the past few days! 👀

Ruthie’s Relics has been hard at work getting our brand-new booth loaded and ready to go! 🩷

Come out tomorrow for Opening Day at The Antique Village Market of NC and check out my booth, along with all the other amazing vendors who are officially open for business. You’ll find antiques, vintage treasures, home décor, unique finds, and so much more!
