Sometimes when I refinish a table for a client, it doesn’t get a drastic makeover. More so a “glow up” with a durable finish. The process is still the same however, and for this table I completely stripped the previous finish, and then stained it using General Finishes Antique Brown before finally spraying a topcoat to protect it. The end result is a finish that will last and looks brand new again!

Another weekend kicking off the Brown County Home Builders Showcase of Homes. If you missed it this weekend don’t worry it resumes again starting Thursday. So many beautiful houses!
Most notable features found throughout is playing with floor pattern design in different rooms, stone accents walls, outdoor living spaces, separated garage spaces, golf simulators, saunas, speakeasy and secret doors, and so much more! This vintage dresser received quite the update! I stripped off the previous pink and neon paint job to start. After prepping and priming I painted this dresser in Artichoke by Sherwin-Williams but tinted into General Finishes paint. I removed the original chunky feet and added something more slimming. The original hardware was used. Message me to take a look.

This cabinet started out with a very white, heavily distressed finish that felt a little dated. We gave it a fresh new look with a clean, classic white finish that lets the beautiful details and open shelving shine. 🤍

Sometimes a piece doesn’t need to be completely reinvented—it just needs the right finish to bring it back to life!

The result? Fresh. Timeless. And ready for a whole new chapter.

Not every painted piece is meant to stay painted.

This dresser came to me covered in layers of distressed white paint, but we had a feeling there was something beautiful hiding underneath. After hours of carefully stripping away the old finish, the most incredible natural wood grain was revealed.

Instead of covering it up again, I let the wood speak for itself. After sanding it smooth and sealing it for lasting protection, this dresser has a whole new life—showcasing the character and craftsmanship that had been hidden for years.

Sometimes the best makeover isn’t adding something new… it’s uncovering what was there all along.

Check out the before and after on this one! What a difference paint and new hardware made on this piece! From two handles centered per drawer to one long handle at the top, it gives such a different look.

This chest got a whole new life with a fresh painted finish! It’s amazing how a little creativity and a lot of prep work can completely transform a piece into something beautiful and functional. New hardware and hardware placement made a big impact as well!
