When I was in college I spent summers working at a family owned vegetable farm and nursery. It was here that I found my love of gardening and horticulture. The elder, Ginny, was a brassy woman that made beautiful lunches for her family using items harvested from the fields. On occasion she would invite me to the table. Her meals were always a treat. She shared recipes with me from one of her favorite cookbooks. I would hand copy the recipes and share them with my mom. I was gifted this cookbook decades ago and continue to use it to make beautiful meals for my family. 🍅🥒
