Decorated for Christmas...took it down Christmas night and changed it over to winter decor.😍

I wish I could do this for a living. I LOVE designing and decorating!!!

Well.....sometimes ya just gotta create stuff. Calms the mind, and gives you a creative outlet.

In the last year I started playing around with painting. It is SUPER fun to take objects around your house, and make art! The pieces I made for myself or family, got lots of compliments. So now I've made a couple to sell. 🤷‍♀️ No clue what I'm doing.

The process is very time consuming, but SO fun to create!

Been a hot minute since I got creative...it is somewhat scary doing furniture for friends. Ya just don't wanna screw it up!!! Especially when it's a sentimental piece...this was from the church she grew up in.

It'd be weird if I set mine up before Halloween, so this is my compromise! This is ours last year.🎄🤪🤷‍♀️

Spending over 20 years in the preschool setting gives me a soft spot for children's artwork. However, my favorite will always be our own girls artwork.❤ I love adding it to my holiday decor to give me some nostalgia.🎃🕷

Well...it's done-ish LOL

I have 4 of the 6 chairs done. I'm not crazy about the top...it's not a big enough change for me, but for now it'll work.

My priorities changed this week as some dear friends lost their house and everything in it (but they are okay and that's a big blessing), so my attention has switched to that and one day I'll get back to this. However I wanted to share what I DID get done.

I've sanded 4 chairs, a table top and table stand, and then painted or stained all that in 24 hours (I have issues😂) ....and will now put polyurethane on all of it.

I am sore like I played tackle football....for 8 hours straight.🤦

But I'm lovin the new look of our 20 year old table! Can't wait to show it off!!!

If you ever buy chairs that are properly refinished, whatever their price tag is, they're worth it! People have NO idea how much time it takes to strip down and paint chairs...

This is a project I've been dreaming of for THREE years. I'm finally refinishing our dining table!!! I've been too scared to do it but yesterday I decided IT IS TIME! The table will get a massive makeover and I've got mismatched chairs I'm painting to make it a farmhouse feel.❤

I love watching these slabs come to life!😍 Natural is beautiful in it's own right, but the seal he does keeps it as natural as possible, while letting the grain shine through.
This one is heading to it's new home this week and I can't wait to see the finished, creative, project!!!

Life got a lil cra cra for a minute, but we're back in action now! Got our laundry room all cleaned up and organized...I'm kinna obsessed now and envisioning allllllll the other fun things to do in there.🤔🤔🤔

I'm thinking one wall will be big black and white pictures of our animals, and then I need a wall mounted drying rack on the other wall, and maybe a hall tree in the back...ya see one thing leads to another!!! 🤣😜
