PART 2 | Cut. Route. Join. Glue. 🤍

Now that we had the design, it was time to start building!

We picked out the board, cut everything to size, routed the edges so the pieces would join together, and glued it all up.

And I have to give a little shout-out to my husband here. 🥹 He’s the one who helps turn all of my “I have an idea… do you think we could make this?” moments into something real.

I come up with the ideas, and he somehow always figures out how to make them happen. 🤍

This is where the sign really starts to take shape. Stay tuned for Part 3! ✨

PART 1 | Making a Custom Nursery Sign 🤍

Follow along as I make this custom nursery sign from start to finish!

Every custom piece starts with an idea. For this one, the process started with a conversation about what she envisioned for her little one’s room. I put together a few design options, she chose her favorite, and from there, we got to work bringing it to life.

I love this part of the process because it’s where a piece goes from being just an idea to something that will eventually have a special place in someone’s home.
