The United States' 250th anniversary is approaching. I am considering decorating with a few red, white, and blue lights this year, a simple and understated display compared to Christmas decorations.

Let the takedown begin . The 500 c9 bulbs on the house are all down . I’ll have everything down and put away in totes by this weekend . The clips from TuffClips are great!

Forgot to post these back when we got the big snowstorm in January! Boy is it dark out without the entire display lit . Soon the snow will melt and I’ll be able to store the lights and rest of our decorations away for a few months and then they’ll be ready to shine again!

We have power back!!!! It’s not dark anymore

Lights won’t be on tonight due to wind , rain and some damage . We’ve been on generator power since 6 am this morning. Hope to be back on tomorrow night
