Hi friends!
Sand Dollar Studios (aka yours truly👋🏻) is on full display at my shop in beautiful Berkeley Springs, WV⛰️ I’m SO excited to finally be fulfilling my dream of owning a small brick and mortar boutique and to everyone who’s been out to see the shop, shared my posts or sent a quick message of support, I truly am so grateful!

I wanted to share a little backstory of how I was able to make my dream come true💫

I stumbled upon a Facebook post in a local West Virginia group a few months ago that I ironically wasn’t following (shoutout to Meta page suggestions 😂 it was a sign!) and saw that the town had 5 available “tiny shops” as apart of a start up small business incubator program (essentially a way to get your business up and running on a small scale). I applied along with 30+ other entrepreneurs with a dream to start a business and after interviewing and showcasing my work and speaking about my mission for the boutique, I was selected for this wonderful opportunity!

I am beyond grateful to be doing what I love everyday and feel so blessed! For those who don’t live local or haven’t had the chance to stop by the boutique, simply sharing my posts, spreading the word and following my boutiques page for all the latest updates on what I’m up to means the world! 🌎

With Mother’s Day right around the corner, we’ve got beautiful gift sets ready to make her feel extra special! We have a restock on our mini magnetic floral vases🌸 and we’re offering gift boxes for them too!

Life Updates + All The Reasons To Celebrate! 🥳

I’ve been a bit quiet on this account over the last few months as I’ve been working hard to get my new business up and running and boy did I!

We had our grand opening and ribbon cutting 🎀 last weekend which was a huge success and I couldn’t do it without you! It has been a dream of mine to own my own retail space for years and I’m so honored to be able to be apart of such an amazing start up program here in Berkeley Springs, WV!

While my main focus for this space is handcrafted jewelry, I’m also collaborating with a few local Maryland artists to offer all natural candles, organic handmade soaps and other adorable gifting essentials!

As far as Sand Dollar Studios goes-I’m still here! I’m dabbling in a few other aesthetics (as I tend to do😂) like more gemstone work, smaller gifts (my magnetic flower vases have been a hit!🌸), etc.

Thank you all again for supporting my small business throughout the years. I couldn’t fulfill my dream of owning my own business without you and I’m beyond grateful!

The Artist’s Cottage is now open Thursdays-Sundays in Berkeley Springs and I hope you’ll come out and see me (or just spread the word that we’re here!) 💛

I’ve recently taught myself how to stitch these adorable bracelets! (Currently working on a choker too!) I’m obsessed! They’re available for custom orders/color choice as well $20 for bracelets or $40 for chokers. Let’s make your vision come to life! ☀️

📣And BIG announcement! (If you haven’t heard!)

My friend and I () are opening our first ever retail boutique in downtown Berkeley Springs, WV! We will be selling our handcrafted jewelry as well as a curation of other gifting essentials and accessories. I am beyond excited! As ya’ll know this has been a dream of mine since 2012 when I opened a booth at a co-op in Lewes, Delaware. I can’t believe how much I’ve pushed myself to perfect my work and branch out into shops, doing wholesale orders and craft shows in the last few years. I’m so proud of my growth🌱

I’ll share more progress updates and our grand opening date as it gets closer! We’re aiming for March, 2026🗓️ Thank you all for supporting my small business and we can’t wait to see you at our shop! 💕

✨That’s a wrap! ✨
Thank you everyone for a wonderful 2025! I feel as though I’ve accomplished so much as the owner of a small side business. I always say Sand Dollar Studios is my passion project that I hope to keep working towards. My vision is to eventually own my own retail shop (someday!) But for now, here’s what 2025 has brought me:
🦋Numerous craft shows all over Maryland
☀️My first wholesale order for a shop in Atlanta
🛍️Having displays in 5 brick and mortar shops
🌸Attending a few bead shows for inspiration (and my shopping addiction😂)
👋🏻Meeting so many of you at all my shows/events! (a true highlight!)
💻Trying my hand at a website (I think I’ll stick to Facebook/IG as I’m not the most tech savvy😅)
Next year I plan to participate in more craft shows when I can and post more on my social media to keep you guys up to date on my latest designs! My goal is to have limited edition seasonal collections launching spring 2026! 🌼
