Elegant Meals Made Simple

Elegant Meals Made Simple I love gourmet food—but I believe it should be approachable.

The kind of food that looks beautiful on the plate, tastes unforgettable, and still allows you to enjoy your guests instead of being stuck in the kitchen.

It’s Picnic Day 🧺✨

There’s something so simple and beautiful about packing up good food, finding a sunny spot, and slowing down for a little while.

Think easy appetizers, fresh bites, and relaxed charcuterie boards that don’t require perfection — just good ingredients and a blanket on the grass.

If you’re looking for ideas, the cookbook collection is full of inspiration for exactly this kind of food: simple, elegant, and made for sharing. From finger foods to beautiful spreads, it’s all about making the moment feel special without the stress.

Here’s to messy fingers, good conversations, and food that tastes even better outside. 🧀🍓🌿

It’s officially Hump Day… which means dinner motivation is hanging on by a thread and someone is probably asking, “What’s for dinner?” for the 14th time today. 😂

This is your reminder that not every meal has to be complicated to feel special. Sometimes elegance is a cozy pasta, crispy sandwiches, a simple soup, or breakfast-for-dinner with extra bacon.

At ElegantMealsMadeSimple.com, I believe good food should feel comforting, beautiful, and actually doable — even on a Wednesday when everyone’s tired and the kitchen looks like a disaster zone. 🍝✨

Here’s to surviving the middle of the week one delicious bite at a time. 🙌

The "Host with the Most"

The secret to a great gathering? It’s all in the appetizers! 🍢✨

I’ve curated 20 of my absolute favorite "Savory Sensations" that are guaranteed to steal the show. Plus, my "Art of the Board" guide makes building a seasonal charcuterie spread easier than ever.

Fun, flavorful, and perfect for passing around! Which one are you making first?

Look at us? Lol!!

🥔 Potatoes were the first vegetable grown in space.
NASA and the University of Wisconsin helped grow potatoes in space to study how astronauts could someday feed themselves on long missions.
Honestly, if humans are taking potatoes into space…
that pretty much confirms hash browns are essential to survival.

My favorite hash browns -
2 potatoes - any kind are fine. I often use 1 Russet & One Yellow or Red. Wash potato well. Grate. I soak them in salted water for several hours or overnight. Drain water, squeeze excess out. Chop onions. Put in a non stick pan with avocado oil and/or a bit of tallow. Cook to desired crispiness. Add onion salt and pepper if desired.
