Join me for an evening of watercolor painting. Start with an introduction to watercolor techniques while becoming familiar with brushes, pigment, and paper. Create a hand painted card as well as a finished costal inspired piece ready for framing. The class will run 1.5 hr. All painting supplies are provided. No experience required, ideal for beginners.

My absolute favorite part of selling a piece is seeing where it lands! ☺️

Taking a little break today from farmland duties & heading out to Yarmouth Seaside Festival to hopefully see some of my favorite Cape artists. I created this vignette this Summer for my Aunt Margo which is the easiest thing to do here surrounded by so many artists. I discovered a couple of years ago and it’s been great fun following his journey. And, ofcourse is always amazing. Newbie to me only but Provan .art was a delight to meet. To top it off, I did what I said I would never do (never say never!) but found the perfect buoy for purchase and pulled it all together. (Now ofcourse I’m going down a rabbit hole of tracking the history of this buoy which originated from the old Wood Duck Inn in Cataumet, Mass … which will be another field trip!) If you have a chance to shop be sure to chat with Chris. He has a wealth of good stuff to chat about in this region.
All in all, this wall likens the true essence of Cape Cod … simple but yet full of treasures. 💙!
