Well, looks like I'm heading back into competition mode. 🔥

I'm officially competing in the Metal Art Competition at the 2026 Fabricator Olympics on Saturday, September 12 at the Kempton Fairgrounds in Kempton, PA.

Five metal artists will be competing, and there are still 2 artist spots left. If you're a metal artist and think you've got what it takes, there is still time to get in.

The Fabricator Olympics is a full day dedicated to the trades with fabrication competition, the Metal Art Competition, Welding Rig Show, food, music, giveaways and plenty more going on throughout the day.

What a week at the 2026 Harford Fair!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the Metal Relic booth. Whether you checked out the sculptures, took some photos, asked questions, bought a piece, placed an order, shared some kind words, or simply stopped over to say hello, I truly appreciate it.

Seeing so many people interested in my work and supporting what I do made all the long days, late nights, setup, teardown, and everything that went into this week worth it.

And to everyone who continues to follow Metal Relic, share my work, recommend me to others, and support this crazy journey… thank you. It means more than you know.

The stall may be empty, but I've got plenty waiting for me back in the shop.

🐙 COME SEE THE KRAKEN AT THE HARFORD FAIR! 🔥

The Deep Sleep is on display all week at the Metal Relic booth at the Harford Fair!

This piece took nearly 500 hours to fabricate, weighs about 84 pounds, and is covered with 2,542 individually fabricated steel scales.

It’s one of those pieces that photos and video just don’t do justice. If you’ve followed the build, seen it online, or have been wondering what the Kraken actually looks like up close, come check it out in person!
