I have been through domestic violence, loss of significant others, bouts of major depression including suicidal thoughts and much more. I have worked through all this trauma and dealing with my depression most of my life and do not know where I would be without all the therapists and professionals I went to for help. Although they would say I was the one doing all the work, it was defiantly easier
with all their help. I know professionals are not the answer for everyone, but they worked for me. Another thing that has gotten me through some major rough times was my ability to be creative in my own way. I am not good at drawing or painting, but I love to color and I love to create things to make people smile. Even if I am having a horrible day, designing a new card and thinking about the smiles and good feelings it would cause always lifts my spirits. This was the reason I wanted to start selling my creations to everyone. To think that people all over the United States will be feeling happy when they open that envelope always puts a smile on my face.
