WE HAVE A WINNING NAME…well, technically TWO!😂🧡🎃

Y’all absolutely showed up with the name suggestions for this new Fall scent, and I had SO much fun reading through every single one of them!🥹🫶🏼
But one suggestion immediately felt PERFECT for what I have coming up…

Miss Cheyenne suggested “Whiskey Flat’s Pumpkin Patch” for our local Fall Festival and I absolutely LOVED the idea!! 🎃🍂 So it’s official…

WHISKEY FLAT’S PUMPKIN PATCH🎃
will be making its debut at the Fall Festival on September 26th!🧡 It just feels right, a special Fall scent with a name tied to our little town and the festival where so many of you will get to smell it for the very first time!

HOWEVER, there was one tiny problem…Miss Lacey is STILL dead set on helping Mama name this scent and she has been very firm that it needs to be called just “Pumpkin Patch.”😂 Now, this is Sand & Sage, y’all…and we don’t really do simple names around here. So we had to negotiate😉🤣

Thankfully, Miss Jeri came through with the super cute suggestion “Meet Me at the Pumpkin Patch” and Lacey LOVES it too! Crisis averted!! Negotiations successful! All is good in the world again. Thank goodness!🫣🤣😉

Luxury Argan & Creamy Avocado Facial Bar✨🥑

Y’all…LOOK at these bars!! Another brand-new soap recipe is officially poured, cut and beginning its cure! And I am SO excited about this one!!

Meet my Luxury Argan & Creamy Avocado Facial Bar! It’s a rich, creamy handcrafted soap made with a beautiful blend of luxurious oils, real puréed avocado and skin-loving shea butter. I wanted this bar to feel extra special and nourishing while still giving you that gorgeous bubbly, creamy lather we all love🧼🫧

🌿MOROCCAN ARGAN OIL: Often called “liquid gold” argan oil is rich in vitamin E and fatty acids and is loved in skincare for helping leave skin feeling soft, conditioned and moisturized.

🥑AVOCADO OIL + REAL PURÉED AVOCADO: Avocado oil is wonderfully rich in oleic acid and other fatty acids that contribute to a conditioning, creamy bar. And yes…there is actual avocado blended right into this soap!

🫒OLIVE OIL: A classic soapmaking oil that creates a gentle, conditioning lather and helps give handmade soap that silky, luxurious feel.

🤎SHEA BUTTER: Rich and creamy, shea butter contributes hardness, conditioning properties and that beautiful creamy lather I wanted for this facial bar.

🫧CASTOR OIL: One of my favorite little soapmaking ingredients for boosting and stabilizing those fluffy, bubbly suds!

🥥COCONUT OIL: Gives the bar cleansing power, hardness and those big beautiful bubbles balanced with all of the richer conditioning oils in this recipe.

Now comes the hardest part…WAITING😭🤣 These beauties are officially headed to the curing rack, where they’ll spend the next several weeks becoming harder, milder and longer-lasting before they’re ready for y’all.

I’m seriously having SO much fun learning the art of soapmaking, experimenting with recipes and slowly building the soap side of Sand & Sage Scent Co.🧼🌿

In the last couple of days, I’ve poured THREE new handcrafted soap recipes🧼✨ AND I’m still working away on my Fall Wax Melt Collection!🍂🤎 Needless to say, my house smells AMAZING, there’s a whole lot of creating happening over here and I’m whooped😂

Well, here it is y’all! My very first loaf of handcrafted soap is officially CUT!🧼🙌🏼

Aside from removing it from the mold early (I didn’t realize that recipes with milk can take longer to firm up, like 48-72 hours instead of 24…whoops😂) so I ended up smooshing the corners on the end pieces😂 and it has a little gelling in the center, I am SO happy with how these Oat Milk & Honey bars turned out!!

For my very first batch, I think they’re absolutely beautiful, and I’m seriously amazed that I MADE THESE!🥹 Now they’ll be tucked away to cure for the next 4 weeks, and then they’ll finally be ready for you all!

I’m already so excited to try another recipe because my brain is overflowing with ideas. Different ingredients, recipes, designs…ohhh, this is going to be SO much fun🧼🫧 Something tells me I may have just found myself another obsession😏👏🏼🫶🏼

Another dangerously good scent has officially joined my “Smells Like She’s Reading S**t Again” Collection…and y’all, this one smells like you WILL be staying up way past your bedtime because those plot twists at the end of the chapter just turned into you finishing the whole damn book.😘🔥📖
