We had the opportunity to do some boxes for some Pennsylvania detectives. After taking a fulltime job we haven't put much into the hobby- It was fun to get back into the groove of things.

Sometimes I do things that just speak to my soul... this is one of them 💙 I have scaled back with the business stuff tremendously and decided it would be fun to jump in with both feet to redo furniture as a hobby when time allows on the weekends and such... definitely not a full time job. Ideally, I would love to find a connection with a consignment/boutique locally where I can just drop the items off, set the asking price, and be done without the in-between of customer service... the customer service aspect really took a toll on me yall! However, I am forever grateful for the ones that I still to this day have lasting friendships with... all bc of a piece of wood 🥰

When mom and I found and discussed this (ugly duckling) table I thought she was out of her mind (she has come out of her shell in many ways... for the GOOD!) I tweaked her advice a little and put a spin on it.... AND she was RIGHT! The beautiful dark blue (that almost looks black indoors) is definitely an elegant statement piece. If I had the ROOM you better believe it would be in my house right MEOW! I am in love with it!!

BUT I'm pretty sure if I tried to keep it, the hubs would probably put me out with the table (just kidding, that man doesn't know what he would do without me) ;) instead she is up for grabs and will not last long!! Table is SOLID wood and is extreamly heavy it measures 50in long, 30in wide and 18.5 inches tall. It has two pullout drawers on both sides with brushed bronze handles that give it the perfect touch 💙 Lower portion and drawers were painted with Behr ultra paint 'Starless Night' color (color is probably on my top favorites list currently) and it does give a dark blue almost blackish tint indoors, I sanded the top all the way down to the original grain and stained twice with red oak- top has been finished with poly.

This would make the perfect statement piece to your living room!!
