The bottom is marked “Made in Occupied Japan,” which means it was produced during the post WW2 time period of 1945-1952. It measures about 2" high and 3.5" diameter. This week's Featured Item is this vintage Americana “Coach and Four” plate made in the USA by Onondaga Pottery Company, later known as Syracuse China. This pattern was produced for the Hotel Roanoke in Virginia. The bottom stamp reads “O. P. CO SYRACUSE CHINA O-4”. According to the information at https://rwcn-idwiki-2.restaurantwarecollectors.com/date-codes-syracuse-opco/ this indicates the plate was manufactured at the Fayette Street plant in April 1934.
