☀️ Planning an organized summer ☀️
First day of June today and for many of you kids are done with school. This is our last week.
Anyone else struggle with the schedule change and having kids home all day?
Here are two tips to having an organized summer:
1. Make a routine
2. Have a list of things you want to do during this time off school
We make our routine pretty flexible. As humans we strive with structure so having some kind of constant schedule is helpful to know what to expect each day.
Having a list of things we want to do helps with scheduling. It also helps on those days we have extra time or when things don’t work out as planned. We can just plug a different activity from the list in.
We use this summer bucket calendar from check out her page for a post about it. I bought the download from her for $5 then printed this at Office Max for $3. My son loved coloring it and we enjoyed talking as a family about what we wanted our summer to look like.
Now instead of wondering what I would do all summer, we have so many fun things summer might not be long enough.
Hope you all are excited for summer and if you do need some organizing in your home I do have a few weeks this summer I am taking clients.
