I recently acquired my grandmother’s serger, so naturally I watched two YouTube videos and now I’m basically an expert. 😂

So I grabbed some old pillowcases and bedsheets and decided to make ✨ fancy shop rags ✨ because apparently that’s what we’re doing now.

Are they perfect? No.
Do I know what I’m doing? Two YouTube videos says yes.

Honestly, I’m pretty sure N***y is somewhere watching me like, “bless your pea pickin’ little heart.” 😂🧵

🎅 Christmas in July is happening tomorrow at the Hesston Farmer’s Market!

Santa will be there, so bring the kids… or just bring yourself. It’s never too early to submit your Christmas wish list… or plead your case before you officially land on the naughty list. 😏🎄

Come shop, eat, laugh, and get a little Christmas magic in the middle of summer!

🚨 LOCATION UPDATE! 🚨

Don’t worry—the Hesston Farmers Market is still at Hesston College! We’re simply moving the vendors onto the grass to provide more shade and make the market more enjoyable during this extreme heat. ☀️🌳

The food trucks and ice cream truck will remain in their usual location in the parking lot. This change will also allow us to open one side of the parking lot for customer parking!

Vendors: Please arrive as usual. No vehicles, including golf carts, will be allowed on the grass. You will need to carry your items to your booth location, then move your vehicle to the designated parking farther down the road.

Since this setup is new for all of us, please bring a little extra patience and grace as we see how everything works. We appreciate everyone working together to make the market safe and enjoyable! ❤️

This little stool has been sitting in my garage for so many years that I’m pretty sure it qualified as a permanent fixture.

Today, I finally decided to give it a makeover.

Now, before anyone asks… no, I have never really upholstered furniture before. And after completing this project, I can confidently say that remains painfully obvious.

Did I watch exactly one tutorial and immediately assume I had mastered a new trade? Absolutely.

Did the finished product turn out exactly like the inspiration photo? Not even remotely.

Is the fabric a little crooked? Maybe.

Are there approximately 4,372 staples hidden under there? Also maybe.

But you know what? It’s no longer an ugly stool collecting dust in my garage, and from at least 10 feet away, it looks downright respectable.

The good news is I’ve successfully transformed a forgotten stool into something cute.

The better news is I’ll be keeping my day job.
