Many of you may not know this, but at the beginning of this year I left my full time job to run Uniquely Yours full time.

I truly thought having that extra time would allow me to keep every side of my business going on my own. I’ve quickly realized that just isn’t realistic. I’m beyond blessed with how much this business has grown between markets, storefronts, orders and floral preservation, but I’m ready to make a change.

After a LOT of thought, I’m looking for the right person to partner with me on the floral preservation side of Uniquely Yours.

And I will be picky. I’m not looking for just anyone.

I’ve spent years building this business, growing an amazing clientele and perfecting my work. What I’m offering is a little different because you aren’t starting from scratch. The clientele, workspace, equipment, supplies and process are already here. There is no upfront investment or buy in. I’m willing to teach the right person everything I know.

Maybe you’ve always wanted to do something for yourself but didn’t know where to start or the cost of starting a business held you back. This could be your chance to step into something already established, learn the craft and see what you can make of it.

This can start part time and grow into something more. Once trained, you’ll have the flexibility to create your own schedule and pay will be based on production.

Requirements
- 18+
- Creative and detail oriented
- Dependable and trustworthy
- A go getter and willing to learn
- Reliable transportation
- Available for daytime training
- Preferably local to Rocky Mount, Tarboro, Wilson or surrounding areas

FLORAL PRESERVATION BOOKS ARE CLOSED

At this time, I am no longer accepting new floral preservation clients. My books will remain closed until at least Summer 2027.

To everyone who has trusted me with flowers that hold such special memories, thank you. Your support, trust, and patience mean more to me than you know.

For my current clients, I am continuing to work through existing floral orders with the time and care they deserve. Thank you so much for your patience as I get each one completed.

And on a slightly serious note… if you’re local, creative, detail-oriented, and have ever thought about partnering in the floral preservation side of an established business, we may need to talk. 😉

Another one found its forever home. 🧜‍♀️💙

This 5-foot mermaid headed home with a customer at Arts by the Sea in Swansboro this past Saturday.

I won’t lie… summer markets are no joke. 🥵 Between the heat, setup, breakdown, and long days, they’re definitely not for the weak. This is our first year doing summer markets, and we’re learning that pretty quickly. 😂

One of my favorite parts of doing markets is catching up with repeat customers and occasionally running into familiar faces from back home. Whether you’re shopping or just stopping by to say hello, it never goes unnoticed.

Seeing pieces like this find their forever homes makes every sweaty minute worth it.

The weather said “stormy,” but the mermaids heard “welcome home” 🌊🧜‍♀️

I honestly thought this weekend was going to be a washout, so to see both mermaids find their forever homes means more than I can put into words. One is heading to New Jersey, and the other gets to stay right here in Virginia Beach by the ocean

Feeling incredibly humbled, grateful, and inspired after this weekend.
