This week I have been working on a memory quilt for a client. She wanted a quilt made out of her late mother’s shirts, hats, and sweaters for her son as a graduation gift. I’m getting ready to attach the backing: Dr. Seuss fabric “Oh the Places You’ll Go.” This sweet Grandma gave her grandchildren copies of that book at their graduations and because she is no longer with them, the momma wanted her son to feel wrapped up in Grandma’s arms. I sure love meaningful quilts like this!! 🥹🩷
