These lovely queens volunteer their time for - an amazing local nonprofit. Tips are how we show appreciation to these divas for getting dolled up and putting THE BEST show for us!
Don’t worry, if you happen to forget your $$$ CMF will be able to take cards to give you some $1 - but it’s always nice to come prepared 😉

Crape Myrtle Festival’s mission:
To encourage and promote the development of services for persons living with HIV, additionally, to raise money to provide financial assistance, outreach and education to realized needs within the local LGBTQ+ community. To encourage the growth and healthy diversity, creativity and communication within the local LGBTQ+ community and to honor these accomplishments through grand celebration.

🚩 HEADS UP: Are you heading to the beach today? There is a High Risk of Life-Threatening Rip Currents for the entire Outer Banks from Ocracoke to Corolla. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. Dangerous shore break can throw a swimmer or surfer headfirst into the bottom, causing neck and back injuries.

There is also a High Risk of Rip Currents for east-facing beaches in Brunswick and New Hanover Counties. There will also be a strong north-to-south longshore current.

Already this year, along the North Carolina coast, there have been numerous water rescues and drownings.

I’m very glad to be participating in a number of Pride events this month and here’s a big shout out to all the local spaces in The Triangle that are inclusive! Looking at you Raleigh Brewing Company for kicking off the month June 6 and The Night Market Company TM with the 3rd annual Alphabet Soup Pride in Cary June 13! I hope many of my friends and customers can come support one or both!
