I’ve been keeping a little secret.
For a long time, I imagined a place that wasn’t quite a shop or anything I had seen before.
A place where you could meet a friend over a cup of hot tea, linger over a decadent chocolate bite, discover something new, or simply take a moment for yourself.
That place is Chocolada.
I’m creating it in Hohokus, NJ, with a slightly obsessive attention to the things that matter to me: fine cacao, thoughtful craftsmanship, distinctive flavors, intentional design, and a more conscious approach to what we eat and what we use.
There will be chocolate, of course.
And cacao drinks.
And coffee.
And tea.
And breakfast and lunch bites.
I want it to be the kind of place where you walk in for one thing and stay a little longer than you planned.
Where a casual coffee turns into an hour with a friend.
Where a decadent bite feels like a little occasion.
Where you discover a new way to enjoy cacao.
I’ve been working on this quietly for a long time.
Now I’m ready to start sharing it.
